Hello! Hope everyone's having a great week. You may remember last month, I was writing about our exciting new Continuum Studies in North American Fiction series. Well, I was delighted to see that we’ve had our first review for the series – the rather wonderful Gothic Imagination blog recently posted a review of our book on Bret Easton Ellis, edited by Naomi Mandel of the University of Rhode Island.
Even better, they seem to like the book, saying: “[this book is] an excellent introduction to Ellis’s work of the last two decades, with useful suggestions for further reading on Ellis and his ‘blank generation’ peers. Mandel’s effort will hopefully inspire future work to widen the critical perspective on the author.”
It’s a really detailed review and you can read it for yourself here. I’ve also re-posted the free preview above, in case you want to check the book out for yourselves.
Happy Reading,
David
